DERMAPLANING

WHAT IS DERMAPLANING?

Dermaplaning is a non-invasive form of exfoliation that uses a stainless-steel surgical blade that requires no down-time after the service. This technique removes weeks worth of dead skin, as well as vellus hair— also known as peach fuzz, resulting in smoother and brighter skin. The vellus hair will not grow back darker or thicker! So if you try dermaplaning once, and you don’t love it, you are not required to do it again! Dermaplaning is not painful, and the majority of my clients fall asleep during their treatments.

Recommended for every 4-5 weeks.

CLIENT REVIEW

I've never had dermaplaning before but was so peaceful and such a calm atmosphere that I dozed right off. I had it paired with a facial and was SO wonderful being pampered! Val is so sweet and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and made me feel more confident in my skincare regimen!— Anna

Dermaplaning Treatment

One of the most asked-about specialty services, dermaplaning uses a sterilized stainless steel surgical blade to gently scrape off weeks’ worth of dead skin cells (and vellus hair!). This treatment starts off with an acne-safe oil cleanse, followed by a glycolic cleanser to break down desmosomes - the glue that holds skin cells together - for an effective physical exfoliation. After dermaplaning, a sheet mask will be applied to soothe your skin, followed by SPF.

Contraindications: Not meant for people with active inflamed acne or are on blood thinners.
