  • This depends on your skin goals! For acne clearing or anti-aging, treatments every 2-4 weeks yield the best results. For maintenance and glowy skin, a facial every 4-6 weeks or seasonally keeps your skin healthy and happy.

  • It’s possible but temporary! Facials detox the skin, which can sometimes bring congestion to the surface before clearing up. We’ll recommend the best aftercare to keep your glow going strong!

  • Absolutely! We customize every treatment to your skin type and sensitivities, using soothing, barrier-friendly ingredients to keep your skin calm and happy.

    • Arrive with clean skin (if possible).

    • Avoid exfoliating 24-48 hours before your appointment.

    • If you use retinol, stop 3-5 days before your treatment.

  • Aftercare depends on the treatment you receive, and we’ll go over personalized instructions at the end of your appointment. But my top two golden rules for post-facial care?

    1️⃣ Protect your skin from the sun—whether it’s the summer heat or dry winter weather, SPF is a must!
    2️⃣ Stick to your prescribed at-home skincare routine to maintain and enhance your results.

  • Most treatments at V’s Skin Studio have little to no downtime—even our more active treatments, like enzyme peels. While you may experience some mild flakiness or redness, significant peeling is rare unless specifically noted in your treatment plan.
